Samsung could also be unveiling a new tablet during its May 3rd London event

14

As it goes with Samsung Galaxy S devices, the rumor and leak mill has been going at full throttle for months. Rumors have come and gone, but everything started looking brighter after London’s May 3rd invitations started being sent. Soon afterwards, images and videos started leaking out. Albeit without the final design. Surely, Galaxy S III (or whatever it will be called) will be quite the sensation. But according to the latest rumors, it is not coming alone.

CNET’s sources are stating that Samsung will also unveil a 10.1-inch tablet during this event. This will probably be unlike the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, which is rumored to be delayed for a quad-core processor upgrade. Instead, this seems to be a dual-core tablet.

This is still a rumor, and should be taken with the usual dose of salt. No other details are known. And after being contacted, Samsung told CNET that they knew nothing (of course). But if this happens to be true, we could have yet another Galaxy Tab coming to our nearest stores.

  1. Inb4 the tablet has the Exynos 5250 Dual-Core with 2560 x 1600 Display.

#fail! It’s not been confirmed that it will not be delayed, noob. Phandroid needs new bloggers

    1. Fail on you for making no sense.” It’s not been confirmed that it will not be delayed.” Nothing has been confirmed. You’re the noob.

    2. I know it hasn’t been confirmed. Just like everything else in the post. I went ahead and re-worded just in case people actually get confused about it.

      1. I’m always confused.

  3. They are putting out a lot of tablets!!

  4. I’m hoping it’s some sort of the Note variant. With Quad Core Exynos of-course.

    1. thats the galaxy note 10.1 different tablet family. (unless sammy decides to incorporate the S pen tech with the new galaxy tab 2 series., which i doubt)

the more devices they release, the more we will buy. fact

  5. cnet rumors are ALWAYS incorrect. just ignore em.

  6. Quick Samsung, do NOT upgrade the GTab 10.1, 8.9, or 7.0+ to ICS. Do NOT release a cheaper, WiFi-only version of the awesome 7.7 and upgrade it to ICS. And by NO means, launch the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1. For the love of all things holy, DO NOT take care of any of the products you have already launched. Just keep launching new ones. I’m sure that is what everyone who has already bought your devices really wants.
