Unlocked HTC One X With Tegra 3 Processor For $630 [Deals]

19

If you hurry on over to DailySteals, they a pretty good deal right now on an unlocked HTC One X. The device is currently be offered up for only $630 and while that may sound a little steep to some, that’s not bad considering how much you’d have to pay when shipping the device overseas. This is about $40 cheaper than the lowest price I could find elsewhere online, and where those are currently back ordered, this one on DailySteals is available and ready for purchase.

Keep in mind, this will only work on AT&T’s HSPA+ 4G network, so no LTE here. And while T-Mobile has been switching over their 3G 1900Mhz spectrum over to 4G, that’s not readily available in all markets.

Of course, you could always wait until AT&T officially releases there’s here in states, and pick one of those off-contract. Only “problem” is those will only come in the S4 varieties and while that has been shown to best the Tegra 3 in some benchmarks, Nvidia’s processor is king when it comes to gaming. Anyone getting one of these now, or holding out?

  1. Almost jumped on the Gnex recently… Happy I didn’t… Question is Tmobile will actually get this on contract or not…

    1. Also keep in mind the 1900mhz band. T-mobile won’t have hspa+ working on that frequency til 2013

    2. Simply because of the software support both rooted and stock the GNex proves a much more viable phone for significantly longer.

      1. Not true. This phone is a beast compared to the GNex and the software support for high end HTC phones is through the roof. Ever hear of Android Spin or XDA? I have owned the GSM GNex, and while it is a nice phone, it is nothing like this.

        1. I respectfully disagree. I can see what you are saying, but the Nexus phones have always had the highest support in the past. They’re both great phones, so you can’t go wrong either way.

  2. 3G isn’t readily available with T-Mobile ;)

  3. why would you want tegra 3 in your phone when even my ipad 2 beats it down, with 2 less cores.  im waiting on my g3 cause thats what G’s do.

    1. Your iPad does NOT “beat it down, with two less cores” but with its GPU.
When it comes to CPU, the Tegra 3 wipes the floor with your A5. Read up before posting nonsense!
And your iPad even has three less cores.

      1. Exactly. Tegra 3 has raw processing power. Those iPads just included a decent GPU so that in gaming they would excel… in some ways. The problem with people thinking the Tegra 3 is getting ‘beat down’ is that the Tegra 3 can handle more detailed graphics and relay them at the same exact pace as the new A5 and it’s GPU, with simply no lag.

And for those of you saying ‘Oh but the New iPad has a retina display, so the processor is faster’ No its not. If it can’t perform at a better depth than other processors with its overkill screen, then its not beating anyone in any competitions.

      2. let me tell you something.  IDFC about cpu’s as they are all good these days.  It’s the GPU that i care about.  And with tegra series having relatively horrible GPU, i refuse to buy it.

        1. can you say Epic Fail, you should really read up on Tegra 3. Just because the new CEO said ” It’s more powerful then an Xbox 360″ LMAO. But in all respect, watch the videos, Tegra 3 doesn’t just beat it…It also has extra effects that the New Ipad doesn’t show in some games, while still running  smoother.

  4. Anyone know if this includes a 100ft charging cable? I wanna make sure I can keep this baby plugged in on the go with its huge 1800 non-removable battery.

  5. Love the look of the HTC One X 7 the photos, but its the Tinny video recording quality that lets it down.

  6. I guess Chris doesn’t credit the people that sent in the tip?

    1. oh shutup lol. whats to say you’re the only one who sent the tip? I send tips all the time /engadget etc/ and i could careless if they mention me.

  7. I rather spend money on a LTE device even if it’s dual core rather than quad core and better battery life like Droid Maxx.

  8. Does anyone know if the unlock version work with Tmobile?

  9. I dont understand why smartphones are so ridiculously priced. And everybody seems to be fine with that.

This phone, for example, is more expensive than a laptop or an iPad 3 WITH LTE!

Outrageous and these mobile device manufacturers are taking full advantage of this market mentality through this open and savage price gouging.

    Revolution. Needed.
