HTC One X, S and V Caught On Video – Unboxing And Walkthrough [Update]

21

We have a pair of HTC’s upcoming One devices caught on video. The first is an unboxing of the HTC One X and where normally I tend to pass on unboxings, I seem to be eating up any bit on info/leaks on the One X I can get. This phone has consumed me. Just as a warning, the video comes from a French site, so unless you took French instead of Spanish in high-school, you’re probably not going to understand very much. Don’t worry, the HTC One X in all of its elegance speaks for itself.

UPDATE: Those crazy French guys at HTC-Hub also got a hold of the HTC One S and unboxed it as well. Looking at the One S in the video, I was taken back by how slim it appeared on camera. Wow… T-Mobile users are in for a treat when the One S drops later this year.

Next up is the HTC One V, which will be headed our way on Virgin Mobile and additional regional (possibly even national) carriers. While most Android fanboys would as soon spit on a 1GHz device as look at one, the One V definitely hold it’s own in the world of “budget” devices. This could be the one entry level device to rule them all (pun intended). When Phandroid traveled to Spain for MWC a few weeks back, HTC didn’t exactly have a working model of the One V so it’s nice to be able to get a glimpse of what we can expect. Even in this blurry cam video.

Remember, not every Android user is using the highest-end phone and most likely your less tech-savvy friends and family will be opting for entry level devices once their contract is up. Anyone else excited for HTC’s entire One line of devices?

I've been obsessed with consumer technology for about as long as I can remember, be it video games, photography, or mobile devices. If you can plug it in, I have to own it. Preparing for the day when Android finally becomes self-aware and I get to welcome our new robot overlords.

  1. Chris…. Save the video for my please, I`m going to the school to learn French, and I`m coming back ……

  2. Can’t wait for the One X to hit AT&T. I returned a Note so I could keep my upgrade for this. Hopefully I don’t get impatient and pick up another Galaxy Note… I’m starting to really miss it. Every 4″+ device I use now is too small! Hopefully 4.7″ will suffice to my big phone addiction.

    1. KEVIN… You`ll buy the HTC one X, which is 4.7″ and after two month there is 5.0″ phone…LOL…

  3. drooool, i think i speak french now cause after a while it all started to become more clear. he was obviously repeating “i love this phone, it is le best of them all”

  4. Dude, it looks sexy! I really need that cause I’m still using my HTC Hero from Sprint! I hope the rumoured HTC Evo One comes earlier than June 6th, cause idk if I can wait that long!

    1. What makes an inanimate object sexy?

      1. so, you don’t classify sport cars sexy either? Sexy applies to anything that looks good, in this case, this phone.

      2. if you have to ask…

    2. same boat as you except im using the samsung moment and ive just been biding my time waiting for a great phone to upgrade to

  5. Hi Guys

    Thanks for the source :)

If you have any questions, just ask !!

  6. High school French from the late 80s….  not so helpful when trying to listen to a video about modern cellphones. :P

  7. I can translate guys. He said this is one sexy phone! Thats all he said.

  8. The way he said “I’m the one you’ve been waiting for” was sexy. :]

  9. The One V isnt only going to be pink is it? Looks pink in the video..

  10. I’m assuming that’s a reset button up top. I’m referring to that hole he’s poking at with the little HTC charm.

So for the people saying “HOW DO I RESET IT IF I CAN’T TAKE OUT THE BATTERY!?! LULZ”… there you go. (Although you really should first try volume-key-plus-lock-key-hold so Android can try to reset itself.)

    1.  nah, that’s the pokey stick to get the SIM tray out.

      1. I didn’t even notice the slot up there. Is it directly behind the lock button?

  11. What makes an inanimate object sexy? Being an HTC One X for starts lol

  12. I love the fact that I speak French right now

  13. Amazing packaging and design!
