How do you soften the blow of upending everything users are familiar with and introducing a totally new app and media download store? Offer some great deals to go along with it. Along with the “7 Days to Play” promotion, Google has slashed the price on a selection of games and applications including popular titles Shadowgun, Osmos HD, Sprinkle, and World of Goo. Each is now priced at a bargain $0.49 for a limited time.

  1. They have some deals on music and I think books as well.

  2. Wow……these deals are good but annoying at the same time….I paid $6 for msecure and now its 40c??? yikes!!

  3. Just nabbed Dead Space for $.50. Hopefully it works…

  4. It seems like most of these apps were part of the $0.10 thing a few months back. Not a bad price for those that missed it.

  5. The only one I didn’t have already was Dead Space. I bought Shadowgun for the original price, which was well worth it. For 49 cents you are robbing the developers, if you don’t have it you better buy it now.

  6. I hate that I don’t have a credit card ……and that credit cards are the ONLY way to pay for apps/music/books/movies from Google T_T

    Shadowgun…..DeadSpace…World of Goo…..T_T

    1.  Get a credit card and pay off your balance every month.

    2. i think you can pay with carrier billing at least with T-mobile.

    3. If you have T-Mobile you can select bill to account.

      1. Where to I do that? Or is this for US T-mobile only? I’m on T-mobile in the Netherlands.

  7. Looks like they’re competing with Amazon’s free app of the day though free  trumps reduced prices any day of the week.

    1. Yeah but 90% of the time their free app is crap

  8. I can’t buy nova 2 on either of my devices :(

    (tf prime and htc desire)

  9. World of Goo and Shadowgun here we go!

  10. Why is Sprinkle not compatible with the Bionic?

  11. Wish I could pay with my free $10 Prepaid google Wallet card… Oh well.

  12. Glad WoG and SG went on sale. Didn’t want to pay to play at the standard price. I like to pick apps up like these on sale even if I don’t use them. At this price you might as well get them and down the road you might use them.

  13. I saw this but I also saw some music and book deals, are those new as well? I’m doing my most shopping ever today!
