SHADOWGUN Now Optimized for Tegra 3 Devices

10

Our friends at Madfinger have released the THD version of their shooter SHADOWGUN into the Android market. This version of the game is $5 – just like the original – and it graphically enhances the game with all of the power that Tegra 3 provides. You’ll be getting better particle, ragdoll and water physics, dynamic textures, enhanced shaders and a whole lot more that should make the game look even more beautiful than it already is on Tegra 3 devices such as the ASUS Transformer Prime (shipping to North American customers as of this week, by the way). Find your download in the Android market here and check out the video above for some nice gameplay footage.

The "Google Phone" sounded too awesome to pass up, so I bought a G1. The rest is history. And yes, I know my name isn't Wilson.

  3. That looks awesome for a tablet / phone game!

  4. Anyone know what “THD” stands for?

    1. Tegra High Definition ;)

      1. Well, that was too easy. :p

  5. The Galaxy S2 should be able to run this just fine too.

    1. If by “just fine” you mean not as good as a quad core device then yes I agree with you!

      1. Two or four cores do not change much in 3d games like this. It’s all about the gpu.

  6. so this is for tegra 2 also?  it says compatible with my acer a100.  so whats the big deal about tegra 3 then?  I bought a prime just so i can play these enhanced games.  which by the way is not as smooth with everyday use as my acer a100.
