ASUS promised that their Transformer Prime would be available the week of December 19th and they are off to a good start. Those with pre-orders through Amazon started to receive shipping notifications over the weekend with the quad-core Android slate set to be delivered during the first half of the week. We have also received word that Best Buy will begin fulfilling pre-orders this week.

The news comes after rumors of delays and reports that Amazon canceled the pre-orders of a handful of customers citing lack of supply to meet demand. The Prime looks to be available in US retail outlets by the end of the week.
