21

We’re on day 9 of of Google’s 10 billion promo where they’re selling 10 apps and games for $.10. Today’s selection offers a popular keyboard replacement, a capable PDF reader and a few games you might want to sink your teeth into.

It’s as good as time as any to check out Zenonia, easily one of the best RPGs on the market. All of these deserve a quick look, though, so be sure to check them out at the links below. Thanks to reddit for compiling the list!

The "Google Phone" sounded too awesome to pass up, so I bought a G1. The rest is history. And yes, I know my name isn't Wilson.

  1. I missed the swiftkey once. thanks you Google it got repeated.

    1. Swiftkey is horrible compared to Swype! But to each their own =)

      1. Then I think I’ll get Swype and compare the two.

        1. Try SlideIt.
It’s very similair to Swype and works like a charm.
Email contact/service from the developer is perfect as I have personally noticed in recent days!!

          1. Thanks, I’ll take note of that.

      2. That’s completely subjective. I, however, like both.

      3. If I could, I’d have Swype in Portrait and Swiftkey in Landscape. It’s a shame you cant choose separately.

        1. if you are rooted there is keyboard manager that does just that. but i prefer swype in portrait and hackers keyboard in landscape

      4. ya to each their own. i hate Swype, don’t even understand how ppl like it since u can’t even see half of the keyboard when you are swypping … Switkey however is awesome i rarely type more then 2 letters per word.

      5. As someone who used exclusively for a year or so, I tried swiftkey and haven’t gone back-the prediction is awesome, and I text much faster now.

  2. Great Apps this time. I skipped most of the stuff yesterday. There have been a ton of repeats lately. There have been absolutely no ROOT apps unfortunately = Would love Titanium Backup/ROM Manager/ROM Toolbox

    1. I very much doubt Google will ever spotlight an app that requires root. (I’d eat my hat if I wore one).

  3. they should have ten cent app promos every day

    1. maybe this is a prelude of things to come (to gauge interest). just like gmusic is doing free songs everyday or heavily discounted album prices. i’ve bought more crap this week and last week from google than i ever did in 3 years owning an ipod touch.

  4. Sleepy Jack is a pretty awesome game. I bought it a couple of weeks ago back when it was $2. (And it was worth paying that much.)

    1. Reminds me of Nights on the Sega Saturn, but obviously with better graphics.

  5. Yesterday’s app selection was boring. Today’s is boring too.

  6. Mostly games AGAIN.
Would have loved to see a decent music player or useful apps as suggested above. Titanium, ROM manager or even something like Open Office.
Each day my disappointment with this sale grows.

    1. ya we need some PowerAMP

  7. Its interesting that Amazon is quietly matching these prices in the Amazon appstore. If you have a non-rooted kindle fire that can only be good news.

  8. LOL, I read “Toddle Tapping Zoo” as “Toddler Zapping Zoo” and had to do a double take. Ha ha…..ha… . ಠ_ಠ
