It looks like Verizon is getting set to introduce another phone sometime soon, though believe us when we say it’s no Galaxy Nexus. Instead, they’re offering the Samsung Illusion, an entry-level Android 2.3 handset that should go easy on the pockets during a holiday season that’s heavy on the pockets.

According to the rumor, the device will be available starting November 23rd.We’re working with a 3.5 inch HVGA display, a 1Ghz processor, Bluetooth 3.0, a 3 megapixel camera, 2GB of internal storage, GPS and more. Keep an eye out for it this Wednesday if this rumor holds up true. [Droid-Life]

The "Google Phone" sounded too awesome to pass up, so I bought a G1. The rest is history. And yes, I know my name isn't Wilson.

  1. 3MP camera?
Wife needs a new phone, but one of her top priorities is a decent camera.

  2. Now this really makes a lot of sense. They can announce a date for this piece of crap that likely no one wants….but the one phone everyone does want (ie the Nexus) they seem be unable to announce a date for. WTF?

    1. Yes they can because this phone does not contain any ground breaking tech.  There is nothing new here.  It’s Gingerbread using proven electronics.  The Nexus on the other hand is all new especially the OS.  Verizon hasn’t been able to come up with a solid date yet as the phone has just not been ready.  There have been problems with ICS and the Verizon software.   Remember the Bionic, Verizon couldn’t get their LTE radio to play nice with the original Tegra 2 processor.   When you are on the leading edge of technology, stuff happens…   I can guarantee you that even when the Nexus comes out, there will be problems.

  3. Yeah…..nobody cares.

  4. Yay!!! Another crappy phone from Verizon.  They can launch all this garbage, but they can’t launch the Nexus.  I have a feeling ATT will have it out first.

  5. @robojerk:disqus Try this immediately. my classmate’s step-aunt makes $74 hourly on the laptop. She has been laid off for 9 months but last month her income was $8114 just working on the laptop for a few hours. Read about it here >>> MakeCash2,com
