You may have seen the new trailer for GTAV and if you were drooling for a chance to take some thug life on-the-go, you may want to look to Gameloft. The mobile video game company with an almost infamous reputation for blatantly ripping-off some big console releases (I prefer to see it as “inspired”), has released a new gameplay trailer for their upcoming title Gangstar Rio: City of Saints.

Still no word on an official launch date for the game but from the looks of this new gameplay trailer, things seem to be coming along nicely. We’ll keep you updated. If you would have told me 3 years ago that I would be gaming to PS2 quality graphics on my smartphone — I would have slapped you. What do you guys think?

As long as this comes to the Market I’d get it. I bought my last Gameloft game from their site and it only works with the phone I downloaded it on…which means I can’t use it anymore.
Email them.they have given me new download links to every game I bought for each phone I have and tablet if its compatible they will give you a link. I have 16 games for droid x and have replaced my phone with galaxy s droid 2 droid 1 and they will let u having a working link if it stops working. I Love gameloft

Yes, it’s coming by the end of the year for the iPhone 4S and the iPad 2, but they haven’t said anything about it coming to Android.

This game is either going to be released for iOS next Thursday morning or the following Thursday.
They almost always release their games for the iPhone within a week of the second trailer.
Didn’t they just release 9mm which is similar to this game?
