Motorola Atrix 2 Easily Rooted with Existing Methods

5

Proud to call yourself an owner of the Motorola Atrix 2 on AT&T? Though the handset was just released last week, a root method is already in place. The method deployed is based around the procedure developed for the Motorola Droid Bionic and was compiled by user Jimmy273 over at XDA. The original method is credited to p3droid. Instructions as well as a one-click method are available at the XDA link below.

  1. About damned time this phone gets it’s own forum. Might be too late for me though seeing that the vivid is coming Sunday. I hope it’s not overly sized with is 4.5″ screen and hopefully it will look as good as the Atrix 2 screen does.

  2. Moto killed any interest for the Atrix line when they locked the bootloader on the original. Developers for the Atrix are few and they’re either scammers or divas. Samsung on the other hand welcomed developers and they’re flourishing.
