It’s business time. Not because I am wearing my business socks but rather Motorola has announced their Pro+ 4G for Bell Canada. The enterprise-ready smartphone will make its North American debut on November 7th, bringing the power of a 1GHz processor, 512MB of RAM, and a 3.1-inch 640×480 display. OK, so it isn’t that powerful, but Motorola Pro+ 4G offers much more through its built-in security and productivity tools. The 4G of its name refers to HSPA+ connectivity with a theoretical limit of 14.4 Mbps. Pricing was not announced. Check out more details in the below press release.

    1. You actually want this phone?

        1. I would like verizon to release this as well. The current pro just isnt that good…

  2. UK release, and yes, I want this phone. It’s the only serious blackberry competitor!

  3. This phone is one of the few BB competitors. I could not understand why some one would want one until recently. I met an attorney who was looking to replace his BB. I suggested any number of Android phones. He then listed the stringent rules his law firm imposed on cell phones and cell phone use. Including rules like “you must never bee seen using your cell phone”, “cell phones must not be visible in any way on your person”–even through clothing–and many other that were crazy restrictions. At the end of the conversation, The Moto Pro was the only unit that might qualify. Another reason I could never work in the Corporate world, and I’m sure his is not the only company with these rules.

  4. Hoping it comes to the U.S. so that I can use it on AT&T or T-Mobile. I might just buy it from Canada if it looks like it’s not hitting the U.S. anytime soon, though.

  5. Business time… HA! I see what you did there. The FOTC are awesome!
