4

TELUS in Canada have finally officially announced their plans to carry a Galaxy S II variant – the Samsung Galaxy S II X. It’s not much different from T-Mobile’s version here in the states with its 4.5 inch Super AMOLED Plus display, 1.5GHz processor and 4G speeds.

It also has an 8 megapixel 1080p HD rear camera and a 2 megapixel front camera. When to expect it? October 28th and you can hold on to $99 from now until then because that’s all it’ll cost you on a three-year agreement. TELUS for more info.

The "Google Phone" sounded too awesome to pass up, so I bought a G1. The rest is history. And yes, I know my name isn't Wilson.

  1. I tought it was exactly the same as the T-Mobile version (supporting 850, 1700 and 1900 MHz UMTS bands)

  2. I’ve seen so many dates for this phone, and they’ve all been wrong… I’m looking to replace my Acer Liquid E with this phone, and the waiting is killing me.

    1. Well you can be rest assured that this is the correct date. It was a teaser that telus put on their OWN website. plus i also reserved mine at my local telus store cause I too have been waiting forever. I confirmed with a worker there that it is indeed realeased on the 28th. BUT, he said after they are released, he has to order them so it might take awhile.

      1. I got it on Friday. It is a beautiful phone, and I absolutely love it. The store I went to is a busy store and they only got two of them, so I am glad I didn’t wait to get it. I’m just waiting for a case now – they didn’t have any yet.
