HTC Rhyme Now Officially Available From Verizon Wireless

10

The HTC Rhyme is now officially available from Verizon Wireless for $200 on a 2-year agreement. The device is built with the working girl in mind and comes with a complete set of accessories featuring charm indicator for notifications, tangle-free headphones and a multifunctional docking station that acts as an alarm clock, digital picture frame and even comes with built in speakers.

And as a reminder, we posted earlier today that Target would be the first national retailer to sell the HTC Rhyme and while that may be true of brick and mortar stores, there’s nothing stopping online retailers like Wirefly from selling the device as well. Wirefly will offer the HTC Rhyme up for sale starting tonight at 3AM ET/12AM PT on their website.

Any of our female (or male) readers going to be picking one of these up? Not sure what it says about my masculinity that I actually find the Rhyme to be very appealing — maybe it has something to do with my man-purse.

  1. If it came in black, I might be interested.

    1. not me.

    2. They make it, it’s called the Incredible 2. (essentially)

    3. I’m actually interested in it because of the colors. You could always just put a case on it if you want black.

  2. the only thing girly about it is the LED thingy for your purse. Everything else can be customized to be as manly as you want it to be. Black would be nice, but I think the white and purple are both cool.

    1. The green in my favorite although it’s not shown above

  3. Its a nice colored phone…black and purple are always good together…dosent really do anything to your manhood…far as being girly. I may have given it a few extra looks if it was 4.+…but then it was made to attract girls…

  4. The guys at androidcentral seem to be in fear of this phone. Like it affects their very penis.

It’s a nice looking phone, good enough specs and with some genuinely good ideas attached to it. Mean in this age why the hell are we still having to physically put wires into our mobiles to charge? they’re so ubiquitous we should all have docks as standard.

The charm thing is an obvious common sense solution to those who keep their phones in their bags and fact that the phone has colour? OMFG!

Seriously. The industry needs more options than just ‘shiny slab of specs’.

  5. Working girl? This phone is for prostitutes?

  6. truly the best phone i have ever gotten way better than apple or droid.amzzing.long battery life never a dropped call pictures are sharp and clear love love love!! all my friends had either droid or apple and would constantly have problem after problem but kept it cause it was ‘apple” or “droid” not worth it after they have seen my new phone!!!!!
