Radio Shack Leak Outs New Release Date for HTC Vigor (Incredible HD) and Samsung Stratosphere

19

Looks like Radio Shack may be expecting a nice little shipment of HTC Vigors in their stores come October 20th. This leaked document also shows the Samsung Stratosphere (Epic 4G) arriving on October 6th. Last we heard, the HTC Vigor could launch as the Droid Incredible HD and early leaks were showing it for an October 13th launch. So either Radio Shack has a more up-to-date launch date, or they’ll get it a little later than everyone else. Either way, the battle for best 720p Android device is on this holiday season!

  1. If they release it with Ice Cream Sandwich or at least promise an OTA upgrade, I’m game.

    1. I can say without a shadow of a doubt, if there is one company you can count on for updates, it’s HTC. Especially with a flagship like this :)

Will still have Sense though o.O

      1. I actually like samsungs and HTCs skjns more than stock android..

      2. Just like the we quickly saw the gingerbread update for the thunderbolt. The random re-booting for 3months was also a nice feature. Go HTC!

        1. HTC abandoned the thunderbolt because they knew it was bug filled a problem. Hopefully the vigor is better and they learned from the tb

          1. If HTC did indeed “abandon” the thunderbolt. Which is only 6months old. Than, why would anyone want to buy another HTC phone on a 2year contract? If your device is abandoned and no longer receives updates or fixes, should you just throw it away?

          2. Well HTC is still one of the best when it comes to updating their phones. Not to mention they make some good phones(EVO, sensation,inc2, etc) just because they have one bad phone doesn’t mean anything most companies have multiple bad phones its called learning from their mistakes.

  2. Vigor or Prime?

  3. I am so ready to get my Vigor on…

    1. Amen

  4. hopefully i get the job at verizon.

this looks like a good move from sprint :]

  5. I thought Radio Shack didn’t carry Verizon…???

    1. they got rid of tmobile now they do

    2. After T-Mobile got dropped, they added Verizon.

  6. As long as this phone can get “ok” battery life, I am ready for it. At this point, I am not expecting any miracles.

    1. ,,nice ,

I just got a $827.89 iPad2 for only $103.37 and my mom got a $1499.99 HTV for only $251.92, they are both coming tomorrow. I would be an idiot to ever pay full retail prîces at places like Walmart or Bestbuy. I sold a 37″ HTV to my boss for $600 that I only paid $78.24 for.
      I use ÉgoWin.com

  7. I am kind of leaning towards this over the prime. As long as the battery life isnt as awful as the tb then I most likely will get it. The prime’s 4.65 inch screen although it won’t have any buttons I still think is going to be pretty large overall and for me the extra size won’t really be used not to mention most apps atleast from the start probably won’t be optimized for the larger screen size. I like the look of the vigor for some reason it just looks a lot better than most of the phones verizon gets.

  8. With Verizon’s usual delay on phone releases, this will come just in time for my upgrade from Incredible. LOL
