3

Earlier in the week the Motorola Feedback Network began contacting Motorola Droid 3 owners about an upcoming update for their handsets. Today, Verizon has posted the documents overviewing the update to their support site. The biggest benefit of the update is the inclusion of Google Talk with Video support, but numerous other bug fixes and enhancements come bundled in the 57.6MB file.

The update, which brings the Droid 3’s build number to 5.6.890, should begin reaching members of Motorola Feedback Network soak test this weekend. With history as any indication, all users should be seeing it by the end of next week.
