Samsung Transfix with QWERTY Keyboard for Cricket Wireless Heads Into Training

3

We didn’t know what the Samsung Transfix was when they filed for a mobile phone trademark a while back, but according to a screenshot of an internal training site afforded to us by one of our tipsters, we now know it’ll be another Android handset for the pay-as-you-go carrier. This one has the model number SCH-r730.

If you don’t remember, the Samsung Vitality has a model number of SCH-r720. We expect these two to be the exact same devices except for the addition of the hardware QWERTY keyboard on the latter. The Samsung Vitality is a serviceable mid-range handset with an 800MHz processor, a 3.5 inch display, a 3.2 megapixel camera and Android 2.3. We don’t know if the Transfix will have these exact specs, but we wouldn’t bet money against that being the case. [Thanks _______!]

The "Google Phone" sounded too awesome to pass up, so I bought a G1. The rest is history. And yes, I know my name isn't Wilson.

I would be an idiot to ever pay full retail prices at places like Walmart or Bestbuy. I sold a 37″ HDTV to my boss for $600 that I only paid $78.24 for. I use http://bit.ly/grab1003
