Nvidia Unveils TegraZone.com – Companion Site to Nvidia Tegra Zone App

The Nvidia Tegra Zone app has been available for quite some time now in the Android Market. This app allows users to quickly browse some of the hottest games in Android specifically designed and optimized for Android devices powered by Nvidia’s Tegra 2 processors. Today, Nvidia has announced TegraZone.com, a companion site to the Tegra Zone app. Using your home computer or laptop, you can now read reviews, browse screen shots, watch videos, developer interviews and get all the release information you need on the latest Tegra 2 optimized games. If you see a game you like, you can share it easily via Facebook and/or Twitter and all it takes is one-click to download a game through the Android Market. There are even community forums for those passionate individuals who love to discuss their favorite Tegra games.

If you’re an Android developer with a great Tegra optimized gaming app, you may want to listen up. Seeing how the Android Market is absolutely filled to the brim with games from every neck of the wood, Nvidia is giving developers a chance to gain more visibility for their apps with a program called Zone In in the Tegra Developer Zone. If chosen, Nvidia will list your game in the Tegra Zone thus gaining more visibility of your translating into more downloads.

As a special bonus, Nvidia will be giving away five 10-inch Acer Iconia Tabs (A500) to commemorate the launch of TegraZone for the month of August. All you have to do is hit up TegraZone.com to enter (US and Canada only).

  1. It would be nice if there was more than 1 Tegra game coming out every 2 or so months (at best!). C’mon NVidia, less webportals, more games!

    1. Actually it would be even nicer if lazy publishers stopped releasing Tegra-exclusive titles alotgether.
