Android Overload: More Google TV Returns than Sales, Dell Streak 10 Pro Launches Sans Android Market and More

5

Boy do we have a juicy Android Overload for you here tonight! Since we don’t always have time to post every, single, little piece of news, we drop it off here, for you, as a late night snack. So let’s get this party started! The Dell Streak 10-inch was released in China (and nowhere else) but get this- without the Android Market. Yikes. Acer dropped the price of their Iconia Tab 10-inch about $50 to compete with the Asus Transformer. I have a feeling we’re going to see a lot of price drops from Android tablet OEM’s in the near future. Google TV has more returns than actual sales says Logitech. Hopefully Google can turn that around once the Android Market is finally made available for the platform (and some more powerful hardware). Have a great night everyone!

I've been obsessed with consumer technology for about as long as I can remember, be it video games, photography, or mobile devices. If you can plug it in, I have to own it. Preparing for the day when Android finally becomes self-aware and I get to welcome our new robot overlords.

  3. For us Android fanatics, paywall is a no no.

  4. Search for the article title in Google (not Bing or Yahoo) and you can link to the full story.

  5. all this negativity on android and ABSOLUTELY awesome apple news is kinda fishy considering apple is about to release the latest piece-of-shit5. lets see do i hope apple makes a better product to make gadgets better? or win their lawsuit cases so they can milk as much money out of consumers as possible and give as little as possible back by NOT releasing the latest hardware?
