Verizon Wireless Drops the Price of the Xperia Play to $100

Get those thumbs ready! Seems like it was only yesterday when the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play launched on Verizon and even at $200, it was a great deal for some Android on-the-go gaming. I was completely smitten with the device in my review but if the full d-pad, analog pads and L &R shoulder buttons weren’t enough to entice your inner gamer, maybe the new price tag will. Verizon Wireless just dropped the price of the handset down to $100 on their website. With better than PSP graphics, full phone capabilities and Android 2.3 Gingerbread, this still sounds like a deal any way you slice it.
