It looks like the Desire Z is ready for some Gingerbread. Folks have started seeing notifications of an incoming major upgrade and, sure enough, HTC’s confirmed that this is Gingerbread. For now, we’re only hearing reports of its arrival on German handsets but other regions should have it before too long.
