Asus Announces Testing Has Begun for Android 3.2 on the Eee Pad Transformer

If you were one of the lucky few able to get your hands on Asus’ Eee Pad Transformer (are they still sold out everywhere?), you will be glad to know that the company has announced, via their Twitter, that they are currently testing Android 3.2 for the uber-hot tablet. They hope to have it released soon and we’ll be letting you know as soon as it drops.

  1. This upgraded right out of the box to 3.1, now it’ll upgrade soon enough to 3.2……. sweet

  2. Testing? Oh yeah, not a Google Experience Device like the XOOM.

    1. GED is nice but you should see the non US owners of the Xoom grind their teeth in the Motorola forums. They do not even have 3.1 yet alone 3.2

  4. @JRomeo ya, man… sweet. i never expected any manufacturer to be updating the OS that fast! it’s only less than 2 months since i got 3.1. now its 3.2 soon!

  7. ASUS is doing this thing right… I love my tablet, and with them staying on top of the updates; this may be my favorite android device yet.

  8. I’ve had my Eee Pad since June 7th – upgraded to 3.1 out of box … and now 3.2 … sweet

  9. Lucky few? The Transformer has already sold more than than the Xoom. You can get Transfomers at pretty much every major online retailer.

  10. Yay! I love mine with the keyboard dock. Even my Apple fan boss was quietly impressed by it compared to her iPad.
