Motorola DROID 3 Dummy Units Are In

13

Need more proof that the DROID 3 is coming this month? Dummy units in-store are always a good thing – it usually means we’re close to a release. The retailers are getting their promotional materials ready and likely already have the phone in a circular set to drop 2-3 weeks later. The DROID 3 received such love. If you know anything about Verizon, they like to launch sequels with little or no forewarning. They also like to release devices on Thursdays. That means it’s extremely possible we could see the DROID 3 on the same day that unlimited data kicks the bucket. Let’s hope that’s the case, guys. [via Mobile Gearz]

The "Google Phone" sounded too awesome to pass up, so I bought a G1. The rest is history. And yes, I know my name isn't Wilson.

  1. Keyboard looks like it’s a huge improvement over the last two models.

  2. No Euro this time he?

  3. I would pay extra $10 for “No Motoblur” option. Maybe someone can suggest this earning opportunity to Motorola?

    1. I think a ton of people would do this. I would even pay more like 40-50 to not have blur on a phone. It would make it easier on them to get updates out and get a ton of revenue off of the people paying for blurless phones.

      1. Why do you think that blur is what keeps you from getting updates? That was true in 1.5. Not so much anymore.

        1. Because every skin slows down updates. Look how long it took phones with skins to get gb and most still have yet to get official update. Do some research then come talk. Skins mean manufacturers have to work with the update and take more time to put their skin on top.

          2. Wtf are you talking about? really leads to anything relating to this topic. smh

  4. So if it’s the same day unlimited bites the dust does that mean adopters get unlimited.. or are the first to get tiered?

    1. First to get tiered, unless you’re already an unlimited customer.

    2. if you have unlimited now you will be grandfathered.

  5. Does the keyboard still suck like the previous two?

Get a Sidekick-quality keyboard on an Android phone and I’m there. (Preferably a 4.3″ 4G one.)

    1. sidekick 4g?
