Early Gingerbread Build for the HTC Thunderbolt Leaks

7

The floodgates have opened over at HTC, with new ROMs coming online today for the HTC Lead, Holiday, and now the HTC Thunderbolt. The Thunderbolt leak is none other than a test build of the upcoming Android 2.3 Gingerbread update for Verizon’ first 4G LTE smartphone.

HTC previously informed us that the plan is to launch the Gingerbread update by the end of Q2, giving the manufacturer a little over a month and a half to get testing squared away and a build finalized. Having a fairly functional leak this early is a good sign.
