Gingerbread Begins Rolling Out for the HTC Desire HD and Incredible S

10

HTC is making good on a couple of their Gingerbread promises today as the over-the-air rollout of Android 2.3 for the HTC Desire HD and HTC Incredible S have begun. The details of the affair have been posted up to the manufacturer’s European support site.

We aren’t quite sure if this will translate to Verizon’s Droid Incredible S getting Gingerbread in the short term, but it can only be a good sign. The original HTC Desire and the Desire Z still await their go at Gingerbread, as well.

  7. C’mon HTC. The Thunderbolt is one of your flagship products. Are we going to ever see Gingerbread? Sorry for my whine. In all actuality, my phone is rooted with a custom ROM that does everything I want and does nothing that I don’t want. No bloatware either.

  8. I hope that means we will get the Gingerbread update for the HTC Inspire in the states that would be awesome.
