13

Three members of the Phandroid Team will be traveling to Google I/O in San Francisco next week: Myself, Quentyn Kennemer and Chris Chavez. Are you as excited as us? It’s going to be a crazy event with tons of new announcements for Android, Google TV, Chrome OS, and I’ve got it on some pretty good inside word that Google’s launching completely new products and services as well. Can’t share too much quite yet!

If you’re attending we’ve got two things to tell you:

Features include:

* Look at the schedule
* Look through detailed session and speaker info
* Look through info about companies in the Developer Sandbox
* Star sessions and Sandbox companies
* Get the current buzz on I/O via real time search stream
* Guide yourself using the conference map
* Create and manage notes using Catch

I’m pretty sure this year’s event is going to be the best one yet… stay tuned for a boat load of coverage on Phandroid!

  1. That Nexus S looks sexy there :3

    1. The Nexus S is an amazing design and (to me) is totally underrated!

      1. It is a really really beautiful device, I still prefer the looks of HTC’s phones. The Sensation to be specific, looks amazing.

  2. “Are you as excited as us?”

Doubt it. We’re not getting free phones like you will be =P
    So, more jealous I guess

  3. Cool, where do we find you?

    1. By the bar :)

  4. Have a safe and fun trip it should be lots of fun.

  5. I’m going :) excited for the tablet UI session

  6. That app FC’s a lot though, which is kind of ironic… or perhaps it’s just my ageing hero who knows…

Anyway, I’ll be there unless my plane gets shot down… :)

  7. i wonder if this is in the Apple App Store?? lol

  8. Wow, this app runs amazingly slowly and fiddly on my Nexus One. I’d rather just add their CalDAV feed to my calendar instead. Too bad they, uh, don’t seem to have one. What the hell, Google?

  9. LOL it’s actually an major update for I/O app from 2010 !
I wish I would collect them on my Nexus One..
all I got now is update. 8D

  10. So pumped! Already starred my sessions. I like that it lets you ask questions via the app so no raising your hand in a crowd of 500 to ask something ridiculous and be scowled.

Being able to tap my next session and have it show me where the heck I’m supposed to go is going to be awesome.
