Radio Shack Offering Some Decent Discounts on AT&T Devices May 1st

15

If you’re looking to pick up the HTC EVO 4G, the HTC Inspire 4G, or the Motorola ATRIX 4G soon, consider what Radio Shack has to offer. The EVO 4G can be had for $200 but only after trading in your own device for a guaranteed $50 store credit. Two high-end Androids from AT&T are also up for grabs, too, with the HTC Inspire 4G and the Motorola ATRIX 4G comig in at $50 and $100, respectively.

The promotion begins May 1st and ends May 7th. Not the greatest deals (in fact Best Buy has the Atrix 4G for $30), but options are options. As a bonus, the Samsung Captivate for AT&T is being offered for free as part of their Mother’s Day sale between May 4th and May 8th.

The "Google Phone" sounded too awesome to pass up, so I bought a G1. The rest is history. And yes, I know my name isn't Wilson.

  1. 200 for the EVO? And Sprint is suppose to be the cheaper option? That phone should be free by now!!!!!!!!!!!!

    1. I bet the Evo is better than what’s in your pocket today.. As a current Evo owner the only devices better on the market are the current dualcore monsters otherwise nothing else tops the Evo so much. The granddaddy ushered in this 4g evolution and it belongs in the smartphone hall of fame. If you aren’t a current Evo 4g owner then you’re not rocking much…

      1. But Ray, this is a phone (no matter how good and powerful) that has been on the market for almost a year now. Any other carrier would have offered a small price break at this point and with the EVO3D coming soon shouldn’t they be trying to clear out the back stock?

Sprint wants to compete, and complaint about the AT&Tmo merger, but won’t offer a deal on a phone that is soon to be phased out.

And Ray, you are correct, I am “not rocking much” but I’ll keep what I got instead of “upgrade” to that phone.

      2. seriously dude its not anyway near as good as you say.. the evo shift blows it to shreds in terms of raw power and battery life. seriously if your going to spam comments about how awesome the evo is please, please just go get an iphone on verizon..

  2. Evo keeps selling why lower the price once they get a better phone out then it will drop in price

    1. Ohh I see, so Sprint has a weak lineup, lets rape the consumer? Seriously, the EVO is a capable phone, but it is a little dated now. EVERY carrier has better phones for a better price.

      1. The only device on this list better than the Evo is the Atrix otherwise all the rest can’t touch the Evo on their best day.. Sprint should continue to sell the evo for 200.00 get every dime they can get. The Evo is the granddaddy of all 4g device and if anyone has a chance to get one they should.

        1. see people like you are the reason why they dont have to lower the price… there are alot of phones that are better then the Evo in their own way… Mytouch 4g is a great phone the only thing the Evo has on it is screen size..but the Mytouch has better performance ……The phone is a very fast one of the best single cores… I will not argue about it anyways you are blind to everything non sprint or evo……..Just like when the same phone is one other carriers with another name you say OH THE EVO or EVO 3D kills it…Thunderbolt is actually better then the Evo… :)

          1. one downside of all the iphone fanboys running to android.. now they get to pick favs with the android phones… anyways just my $.02 the evo is old.. like seriously old the QSD 8650 powering it is a battery hog and a joke of a cpu. which is why i almost pissed myself when they announced the echo had it, great all the battery draining powers of that single core plus 2 screens… brilliant!

  3. Where do you see that you can get the Atrix for $30 at BestBuy? According to their website it’s $99.

  4. Atrix is $99 at best buy.

  5. I cant see an Atrix for $30 on Bestbuy

    1. I believe there was a typo on the Best Buy website on 4/25 where they were selling if $29.99 for a few hours. Clearly a mistake since the ad flyer for this week says $99.

      1. That was an easter day sale for new contracts only.

  6. This article is full of errors. The Atrix is not $30 at Best Buy and the Evo is $150 when you trade in a working phone, $200 is it’s normal price.
