Best Buy Now Offering Verizon’s Samsung Gem

3

Remember this little fella? If you don’t, its name is the Samsung Gem. We’ve seen it leaked in countless pictures before several regional carriers decided to carry it themselves, but the original carrier we learned of to be offering it – Verizon – hadn’t elected to say a word about it. They still haven’t, in fact. But that isn’t stopping Best Buy from offering it through their website for $30 with a two-year contract. One would almost think Verizon’s ashamed of this little gem (yes, intended), but I’m not one to know. Head over to Best Buy’s site and order it if you’re interested. [Thanks Joe!]

The "Google Phone" sounded too awesome to pass up, so I bought a G1. The rest is history. And yes, I know my name isn't Wilson.

  1. i dont understamd why people wouldnt spend another 70 dollars for a phone that can do everything. theyre already spending more than that very month on dta

    1. If i was a person looking for a cheap smartphone and NOT anything Droid related or anything over 100 dollars, I’d get something like this.

I don’t understand why people make comments like that because not every person wants a Droid….Not ever person needs a droid or cares to have a phone with a FFC, 4g, Dual Core, HUGE ASS SCREEN.

I’ve been trying to push my Aunt and Uncle into smartphones…I was able to convince my uncle to get an HTC HD7 which he loves and since my Aunt has Verizon a phone like this will definitely convince her

It’s not that bad of a device to be entry level.

  2. They finally release this piece, yet the VZW HTC Merge ( a phone a number of people are still looking for) is still nowhere to be seen…
