US Cellular to Get Motorola XOOM This Quarter, Says Leak

5

New evidence has surfaced saying US Cellular would be carrying the Motorola XOOM. Sweet, but that’s about all we know for the time being except for its expected launch window – Q2’11. No word on whether or not this will have 3G radios for US Cellular’s CDMA network, either, so all we know is that you’ll eventually be able to buy the XOOM in some unknown capacity sometime within the next 2.5 months. Not exactly the most exciting of leaks, is it? [via AC]

  1. When will these manufacturers realize that these tablets are computers, and not phones? Few people would buy laptops with them attached to a data contract.

    Tablets are no different.

  2. Exciting if you happen to be with U.S. Cellular ;)

  3. Indeed, wifi already available for 200 bucks cheaper. You’ll likely save about 600 dollars or more over 2 years of contract time. You are MUCH MUCH better off upgrading your device to something with wifi hot spot then touching this with a 10 foot pole.

    1. A well thought out and bias-less point. Kudos.
