Vodafone Australia to Offer Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1v (Original); Gives Idea of Pricing With AU$729 Tag

Vodafone Australia is the first carrier to announce their intentions of carrying the Samsung Galaxy Tab that was announced in Barcelona last month. It’s now going to be called the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1v to differentiate itself from the version that was introduced this past week at CTIA.

The carrier has also already priced the device off contract for AU$729. While this isn’t indicative of how it will be priced in other regions, it should give us a pretty good idea of how much Samsung will be looking to charge for the tablet. Check out Vodafone’s coming soon page for it over at their site. [via Samsung Hub]

  1. Why is it so expensive? The Australian dollar is stronger than the US dollar at the moment. Buying an ipad2 overseas + shipping will be cheaper than this thing. Give it a chance Vodafone!

    1. Australia has a 10% GST. in australia the ipad 3g 16 gb also cost $729

  2. I still can’t choose between the 10.1v or the newer 10.1
