Who Else is Checking Out Coding Green Robots?

2

You may have heard about this already, but we weren’t able to get to this interesting bit of news until just recently. Mobicartel has announced a bi-weekly session – called Coding Green Robots – that’ll help budding coders get started with developing Android applications.

Every other Tuesday – starting with February 22nd (tomorrow) – they’ll be hosting sessions at the Yorkville Media Centre in Toronto, but if you aren’t near Canada, don’t worry: they’ll be streaming the sessions live on UStream and will also publish full videos of sessions afterward.

If you are looking to learn how to develop for Android in somewhat of a classroom environment, I’d strongly recommend checking this one out. It’s free and open to everyone, so there really is no excuse not to if you’re serious about what you want to do. Keep an eye out on their website tomorrow for the first offering.

The "Google Phone" sounded too awesome to pass up, so I bought a G1. The rest is history. And yes, I know my name isn't Wilson.

  1. I’ll probably check it out, I’m a fan of Matthew and Greg. The original podcast Android After Dark that comes on the other Tuesdays between Coding Green Robots is pretty fun. http://www.ustream.tv/user/RadioAndroid/videos

  2. Thanks for the info! Anything to help getting started is welcome.
