Motorola XOOM User Manual Posted Online

8

If you’re into this sort of stuff, listen up: the Motorola XOOM’s user guide has been snagged from the clutches of Motorola and posted online for all to see. It’s a 5.4 MB download, has 64 pages, and – you guessed it – is in .PDF format. It won’t tell you much more than you already know, but if you’re the type who reads user manuals for everything you buy, you’ll want to get a head start with the Motorola XOOM’s. [Droid-Life]

The "Google Phone" sounded too awesome to pass up, so I bought a G1. The rest is history. And yes, I know my name isn't Wilson.

  1. Great! Now all I need is the device. I am seriously jonesing for this tablet.

  2. Still no official published release date or price from Moto? What are they waiting for? Are tablet manufactuers just waiting for each other to put their neck out first with a price so they can slide in just under each other?

  3. Out of all the big Honeycomb tablets I think that the cheapest WiFi version will be the winner, at least with tech savvy people.

Someone from Moto announced the prices of the models yesterday.

    $599.99 – WiFi-only
    $799.99 – 3G/4G

WiFi-only is the way to go imo. Especially because I’ll have my Xoom tethered to my amazing new Atrix now being released this Tuesday!!

  5. @Zach It was the CEO of Motorola Mobile that announced the prices.

  6. They may have announced prices, but it’s still not clear if the WiFi version is coming to the US at all. I think it’s unlikely that it will be available at the same time as the $800 dollar version.

Also, it looks like it’s going to have a locked bootloader (not confirmed). If that’s the case, I’ll keep waiting. The Samsung 10.1 looks nice…

  7. @jdog25, Cheapest will appeal to the tech non-savvy. Those who are into tech will look at the best tech, not just the price.
