CyanogenMod 7 Release Candidates Now Available

20

Just woke up and took a gander at my Twitter page – CyanogenMod 7 release candidates either are or will soon be available. All of the usual suspects (devices) are getting it, but if it’s not uploaded by the time you check, Cyanogen says give them time – some of the maintainers are in different timezones and they upload the builds for their devices themselves. GEt it at their official Team Douch mirror.

The "Google Phone" sounded too awesome to pass up, so I bought a G1. The rest is history. And yes, I know my name isn't Wilson.

  7. Really? I thought the G1/Magic are not supported anymore, at least by Cyanogen. :(

  8. Warning, no gApps at least none that I can find. THIS MEANS NO MARKET!

  11. Eh…I don’t want to flash again. It’s such a pain. It takes forever to get my phone setup the way I had it pre flash.

  14. Can anyone confirm that there is a Mod7 download for CDMA Hero? I’m at work and can’t get to it, if so a link would be nice maybe it will allow the direct link. ;-)

  15. @Prepsel
No i didn’t see anything. i am sure it will be done soon

  16. Ditto on the CDMA Hero.

  17. It should be noted that if you are coming from anything other than a cm7 nightly build you MUST wipe everything before flashing cm7-rc1.

  18. NOTE TO G2 USERS – I flashed CM7 this morning and I had no GPS or location network. Google maps kept saying that there was nothing associated with GPS.

  19. @ D
    Can you post a link

  20. Upgraded my evo to RC1 but no 4G and GPS not working overall Do not recommend it. it was waste of time over nothing. I had to go back to my back up android 2.3 with stock ROM.
