  7. Left: Normal. Centre: Seen a ghost Right: Soon to be wasted, hehehe

  8. Nothing is confirmed till VZ or BB says so. I don’t believe a admin from a forum counts as confirmed even if he claims it’s from a reliable source. Other peoples “reliable” sources led us to a 2/14 launch date.

  9. Go to the Nou Camp and watch a game of Football….oh sorry Soccer!

I promise, you will not be disappointed!

  10. Sprint will make the news Here. Verizon & At&t have had their time.

  11. Why do Americans write Barcelona, Spain? What other Barcelona do you know? It’s really irritating! London, England. Glasgow, Scotland. Paris, France. Berlin, Germany.

    What’s the point??

    Rant

  16. When will Gingerbread be ported to our existing devices, namley by HTC/Tmobile G2?

  17. @kylewblack, yeah but those other people that led us to the 2/14 date was actually true until it got delayed because of an LTE handoff issue. I’m going to be optimistic about this date and hope its the real deal

  18. La Rambla is worth a visit, its the main street in Barcelona. There is a great English/Irish Bar called My Bar and the Temple bar. Also, I’m not sure if it’s on while MWC is on but the Font Magica (a big fountain) is worth a look which starts in the evening, its located right in the heart of the MWC exhibition outside at the top of the Avenue and up the steps, you can’t miss it.

Watch your phones while your there, I got my brand new Desire nicked by a pickpocket! they use distraction to pick your pockets so be careful of anyone talking to you.

  19. I was in Barcelona a few months back, and I would definately say to do the 1 day hop on hop off bus pass. That way you can see (don’t mind my awful spelling) Par Quel, Sagrada Familia (pay the couple euro and go through it.. unbelievable), and a lot of the other famous architecture. Also there are restaraunts in a central square area off of Las Ramblas that are all good and fairly priced. If you’re into the nightlife scene, do a bar crawl. Its cheap, and they take you to all the good clubs/bars.

  20. Two things I want to see at MWC, but not the only two. First, official release date for the Xoom. Second, Android-powered HTC device with a Touch Pro2 keyboard. Not the 4-row wannabe we saw on the Merge either.

  21. go see “La Sagrada Famili” most amazing thing you will ever see. They started building the church in 1883 and they still haven’t finished it.

  22. First of all you should visit Camp Nou, the largest soccer stadium in the world, it’s really amazing. Segrada Familia is also a great place, but the entrance fee is too high I think (you’ll see). Gracia is the name of the distric that in the past was a separate town. It contains some of Gaudi’s most famouse works. Wherever you will be you should try Tortilla de patatas, which generally is an egg omlet with potatoes, but I think you will like it. I’m also a Android-newsman/publisher, and part of my site (android.com.pl) will also be on MWC, I hope you have some t-shirts for exchange with Europe colleagues.

  23. Los Caracoles, a busy restuarant just off the ramblas, has always been an enjoyable dining experience!
    PS: Android ftw!

paris france dont forget paris texas lmao

  25. Watch your personal belongings, especially in and around Las Ramblas. Barcelona pick-pockets are some of the best in the world.

  26. Definitely La Sagrada Familia. It’s amazing to work through the spire and see the view of the city. The Gaudi park (exact name is escaping me) is also a beautiful spot in the city! Hope you can stop by the Android booth and see the Realtor.com app next week.

  27. Definitely visit La Sagrada Familia–go up the spires and see the amazing view of the city. The Gaudi park (can’t remember the exact name) is also really amazing. Hope you can check out the Realtor.com app at the Android booth next week.

  28. I want to know about a WiFi only Xoom, WiFi only G-slate and the price for both.

  29. Welcome to CATALONIA :)

  30. Hi Guys,

I hope to meet you at the Conference!

    Br,

The guy from the Finnish Androidblog!

  31. @fraz1776 we Americans write the country because we often steal city names from other countries, while I cannot think of a Glasgow in the states, I know of several Berlins, Parises, a few Londons, an Edinburgh, a York and a few West Chesters all located in the USA. Besides, we don’t mind giving props to the old world. :-) I do not know of a Barcelona either, however finding one would not suprise me. Just to lazy to Google it right now.

  32. Even Google types Barcelona Spain when I just type in Barcelona :) I hope Sprint does come with the goods…I need a nice upgrade that will last because I’ve been holding out skipping the evo and epic in hopes of the dual core goodness :D

  33. I wanna see official specs on Xperia Play. Also which US carrier (if any) will have it. As well as any awesome phones coming out from Tmo.

  34. La Sagrada Familia is a must–and a trip up through the spires is absolutley worth it. The view is amazing. The Gaudi park is also a great stop to make. Make sure to visit Realtor.com at the Android booth next week!

  35. Bring me a GSM Samsung 4.5″
