Original Dell Streak Next Up For Honeycomb SDK Port

3

While Dell is busy improving their Streak lineup with the release of the Streak 7, the good old boys at MoDaCo have been doing a bit of polishing themselves. That is, they have been polishing up a Honeycomb SDK port for the original Dell Streak. Don’t worry. It’s still far from useful, but the team working on hopes to change that soon enough. We don’t want to state the obvious, but we will: this might be Streak owners’ only chance to grab some Honeycomb anytime soon, so keep your ear to the ground on this one.

  2. DJ Steve rules! Hopefully this is a good sign that once the real honeycomb starts showing up that we can get a fully functional port

  3. Awesome news. I’m running DJ_Steve’s Streakdroid 1.6.1 on my Streak and loving it. It’s a shame that such a great handset has such a bad rep because (at least in Canada on Rogers – like me) it’s still running Android 1.6! Glad to see it’s still being worked on.
