Fring Debuts Nexus S Update in the Most Entertaining Way Ever [VIDEO]

13

I was thinking of throwing this one into our “Things We Missed” wrap-up, but after seeing the video Fring made to announce the new Nexus S and Gingerbread-friendly version of their application, one line of text couldn’t do it justice. It’s one minute of entertaining awesomeness, but if you’re just interested in  the app, here’s the changelog:

  • NEW Notifications: all fring updates right to your home screen/ notification bar so you never miss a call, chat or other fring event
  • NEW Activity log with all your fring activities (calls, new friends, chats, video calls, history, system messages…)
  • Significant Audio improvements: major improvements on Jitter buffer
  • Gingerbread support (Android 2.3)
  • Complete support for Google’s Nexus S

The "Google Phone" sounded too awesome to pass up, so I bought a G1. The rest is history. And yes, I know my name isn't Wilson.

I personally prefer Fring over Tango, tho I really wish Google would just add video to their GTalk app since you can do video chat with GTalk on PCs.
Would help cross the boundaries of phone to phone, Phone to PC since Skype seem to be taking their sweet a$$ time……..
