Motorola DROID Bionic Makes Early Appearance at Amazon for $149

18

Yet another device has hit Amazon ahead of official launch details per its respective carrier: the Motorola DROID Bionic – said to be available at the end of Q2 from Verizon – has been listed for $149.99 (after a two-year contract agreement.) There’s not much else to say here, except that we hope Amazon continues to be as generous as they have with all of these miscues. The page in question no longer exists. [via Droid-Life]

The "Google Phone" sounded too awesome to pass up, so I bought a G1. The rest is history. And yes, I know my name isn't Wilson.

  1. $150 thats a great price. If they keep their bootloader and attitude policy, I wouldnt touch this otherwise great looking piece of hardware for free.

  2. $150 notgood and not bad..

    A question here
ahead of official launch — means pre-official launch or post-official launch ?

  3. This price is crap! My prediction its this won’t happen!

  4. 3.5 stars on the Amazon page, uh huh.

  5. Okay, I’ll start off by saying I’m stuck with AT&T, so please don’t flame me that verizon’s LTE network is faster. I know it is.

The Bionic seems like a huge ripoff. 512mb less ram for the same price as the atrix?

.3 extra inches of screen… yay?

Also, this thing is coming out at end of Q2 (summer). the atrix is coming out in a few days.

    Dual core in february- success

    Dual core in May- Fail

Don’t forget Tegra 3. It has 4 cores at 1GHZ, and is coming out around Q2-Q3 (rumors)

I don’t know. The atrix just seems more ambitious.

  6. I was planning on getting the TBolt, but how in the world can I justify the $250 (rumored) price tag when this phone is $150?

  7. This is fake. 3.5 star review with no customer reviews and an interactive flash guide of the phone that is said to be released in May?

  8. Techdude, “Okay, I’ll start off by saying I’m stuck with AT&T.” You come off a such a little fanboy.

  9. Well its gone anyways, i just checked amazon. Do you really think Verizon would let this happen…….No they wouldn’t. And even if they did. Verizon doesnt warranty or insure any devices that are not purchased through them or authourized agents. So to me its worth paying more. I could almost bet if amazon sold or some one sold through amazon there probably would be a law suit because verizon is known for doing that.

  10. If you are not locked into a specific carrier I would wait until 25 Feb to purchase an atrix, you will probably change your mind.
