Samsung Releases Froyo for US Cellular’s Acclaim

5

US Cellular gave us a pretty neat timeline showing when all of their Android phones would/should be getting Froyo. At least for the Samsung Acclaim, it’s about as accurate as one could hope: Samsung’s just released the Froyo update for it. (Mid-January, as promised.) Looks like you’ll need to download a Windows-only tool to apply it, but I’m sure a US Cellular rep would be happy to do it for you if you take it into a store. Hit this link for the goods. (Make sure to click “Software”.) [via Android Central]
