Huawei Ideos Headed to India

While the LG Optimus One is tearing up a storm as a phone that mixes affordability with the Android 2.2, it is easy to overlook another budget-priced Froyo phone that is starting to roll out to all corners of the globe. The Huawei Ideos just popped up at India Telecom 2010, and it looks poised for a launch in that country before the end of the year.

The handset with its 2.8-inch display and 3.2MP camera will cost only 8,000 INR. That’s an impressively low $178, roughly. While it certainly isn’t the be-all-end-all of budget-minded Android devices, you can’t really shake a stick at pricing like that.
