LIVE: Acer Currently Announcing Line of Touch Products, At Least One of them Runs Android

0

Going on right now is the press conference Acer scheduled where we expected to hear information about an Android tablet from the manufacturer. They’re announcing five new devices today, all giving users the ability to compute with nothing but touchscreens. The coolest of which is the Iconia dual-screen Windows 7 “smartbook” device, and currently they’re showing a Windows 7 tablet. We expect an Android device to be shown sometime in the next half hour or so, but until then, join us in watching Engadget’s live feed of the goings-on from New York City.
