Live Action Angry Birds Peace Treaty Meeting Ends in Tragedy

by Quentyn Kennemer on November 22nd, 2010 at 9:43 am

We know Angry Birds isn’t just an Android thing, but ever since Rovio’s introduced the game to those of us who love and use the platform every day, we’ve fallen in love with it. And we’ve fallen in love with anything even remotely related to the never-ending battle between Bird and Pig. While we’ve tried to chillax with all of the Angry Birds fascination around these parts, we just couldn’t let this video go unseen. What happens when you buy a bunch of Angry Birds costumes, a genius script, and a basket full of controversial eggs? Well, watch the video and find out.

PS: whoever can tell me why the birds failed even after killing both of the pigs (and after hearing the victory music and chirping) wins 30 Phan points. (Redeemable for absolutely nothing, but they’ll make you feel cool!)

hehehe hilarious! too bad no agreement could be made… I guess they’ll just have to keep making games :)

Have not had a chance to watch so not really commenting on the video but…. SERIOUSLY??? This game is loved THIS much??? I mean I’ve installled it and played all of maybe 2 or 3 times. I’m way more interested in Pocket Legends at the moment. Its just the same rehashed physics thats been done over and over. I might even say that cows can fly or whatever it is may be a more interesting physics game. I’m really really not understanding this one. Not that theres anything wrong with whats happening but I just don’t get it.

My only guess is because the “negotiations” failed, but you’re right the actions didn’t match the result.

  • erwan

fail in making the peace process working maybe…

  • Marcos

Haha Thats from an Israeli show “Eretz Nederet” which is a great show:)
    Israel Pride :D

  • Rob

That is the funniest video I’ve seen in a long time!

  • SK

Haha… that was hilarious. “What the fuck”

  • Alex Kleven

yeah, they definitely shouldn’t have failed, ruined the entire video

  • Ryan

So it (the video) can be replayed?

  • tramsgar

At the end of the video, I was crying.

    For humanity.

  • darkjuan

    Hahah!! Love that ending!

  • kendra

    Say What?? Say What? LMAO

  • 3rd_input

Must be a slow news day, right Quentyn?

  • Alexander

It was a peace treaty and they failed at it, lol.

  • Pimpstrong

HAHAHA That was awsome! It wa done perfectly except for the hand that popped up.

  • Jared

While I agree that overall Pocket Legends is a MUCH better game, I got a lot of fun out of Angry Birds and for more casual gamers it is a lot more approachable. Pocket Legends may be one of the most casual MMORPGs ever but it still can’t compare to the simple elegance of Angry Birds. Still, everyone should be playing Pocket Legends. Everyone.

    Genius!

“It’s all good, it’s all good” HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Angry Birds is a game that can be played by anyone at any time, even those who are not really into games. There are many other games out there that are popular, and, if you like them, great, but Angry Birds is just silly fun that requires very little skill but you can pretend to be a gamer.

  • jestyr

The level failed because there was a dang pig hiding under the table. And as they were out of boomerang birds, you cant get to it.

  • Bel

The king pig didn’t get killed, just the flunkies. :)

  • oaussieo

that was just plain cool, keep up the good work…

  • ozzzy3z

Weak. Based on the comments, this must be a Dane Cook crowd.

  • Bianca

I guess cause the pig king ran off with the basket?

  • TheDrizzle

The level failed because the objective of the level was to negotiate a peace treaty, not kill the pigs. Why they played the victory music I’m not sure.

  • Slighter

    Say What? hilarious……
