Sprint Premier Customers Invited to Pre-Order the Samsung Galaxy Tab

7

If you’re a Sprint Premier Customer (ie, anyone who owns a smartphone with them, which most of you on Sprint reading this blog probably do), you may have seen an invite in your inbox sometime yesterday to pre-order their version of the Samsung Galaxy Tab. We don’t have a date yet, but you can pre-order it for $399.99 (after rebates and a two-year contract). You’ll be required to add a new line with a data-only plan: $29.99 for 2GB per month. Neato! Go ahead and hit that pre-order button in the email you received if this applies to you.

The "Google Phone" sounded too awesome to pass up, so I bought a G1. The rest is history. And yes, I know my name isn't Wilson.

  1. I used the Samsung Tab and I am very impressed. I think that people will like it and to tell you the truth I really like the size. It’s very fast and the image quality is outstanding. I really like the build quality.
Ohh did I mention this stinking tablet pulled an amazing 55 fps on Neocore. The games are extremely smooth on it and I really home you are not addicted to angry birds because you won’t get any work done  The apps open really quick and you can actually use it in the light. Wow!!! So if you are in the market for a tab I really think that you are going to be happy with this one. The Sprint 3G speeds are amazying and it flyes on Wifi.
I Love You GOOGLE!!!!!! Thanks For Android!!!!!!!

  2. According to the e-mail, there is also only 3 days to do the pre-order: the 11th, 12th and 13th.

  3. I purchased the Verizon version yesterday. If you look at Samsung’s Galaxy Tab site, they state Sunday the 14th as the release date. It will be at both Sprint and Best Buy. The Verizon model has a carbon fiber back, Sprint’s is glossy white and Tmobile’s is glossy black. Not sure how Verizon pulled that one, but the carbon fiber rocks.

  4. Sadly, I found out the hard way that being an Everything Plus member prevents you from using the Premier service to preorder, so now I’ll have to wait til Sunday. Eh.

  5. Yeah the Verizon carbon fiber back is awesome. I had bought a cover and actually don’t think I need it – the back isn’t slippery – the carbon fiber actually has texture to it even. Pretty sweet. The more I use this tablet the more I like it.

  6. I would love to get the Verizon version of it but unfortunately, being an iPad owner already, it isn’t worth it to me. I was really hoping it Verizon would subsidize to boost sales. If it was $399 like it is on Sprint/T-Mobile I’d be using it to type this…

  7. @Wrceuro wow Galaxy Tab is locked at 56fps like Galaxy S too? They need to uncap that with an update. Try Nenamark on it. It’s OpenGL 2.0 vs older OpenGL 1.1 in Neocore.
