Toshiba Folio 100 Begins Shipping

9

Toshiba promised it’d be here in the 4th quarter for 399 Euros, and sure enough, here it is.  The Folio 100 is notable due to how much power it holds: an Nevidia Tegra 2 processor, 16GB of on-board storage, mini HDMI, USB 2.0, a front-facing camera, 7 hours of battery life, a WSVGA 10.1-inch screen, WiFi N, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, and a lot more. No word on where you can get these, exactly, but call around to your favorite European shoppes to see if any of them will be stocking it soon. [via The Unwired]

The "Google Phone" sounded too awesome to pass up, so I bought a G1. The rest is history. And yes, I know my name isn't Wilson.

  3. Yeah this has some very juicy specs. and I wouldnt mind picking one up no contract.

  4. Apparently these arrived yesterday at the PCWorld Shops in the UK. Quite poor build quality and unresponsive compared to Galaxy Tabs though from what I heard from an employee testing it out.

  5. No Market? DOA*

  6. much better than ipad and galaxy tab

  7. Doubt this is better in any way than the Viewsonic at Sears here in the US.

Only decent Tabs are going to come from companies that have worked with Android before.

  8. Didn’t Palm make a Foleo too?

  9. We picked one up in the UK for work, screen and buttons very unresponsive Toshiba Market is poor to say the least no flash 10.1 available yet overall I rate as 4/10
