T-Mobile UK Getting Samsung Galaxy Tab, Blunder Says it has a 1.2 GHz Processor

6

I know you’re not surprised, but listen up anyway: the Samsung Galaxy Tab will be headed to T-Mobile UK. Nope, there’s really no twist here, folks. (Unless you consider the 1.2 GHz processor that they say their version will have, but we’re sure this was just a typo.) We know Samsung’s employing the same strategy they did for the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S where seemingly every major carrier in every market carried the device.

It’s now safe to say that the big five in the UK will be launching this thing and we’re sure many more across Europe are set to follow. We’ve already got North America covered with the Galaxy Tab seeing launches in the United States and Canada. Anywho, for those of you on t-Mobile UK, expect this to be out sometime next month. The "Google Phone" sounded too awesome to pass up, so I bought a G1. The rest is history. And yes, I know my name isn't Wilson.

  1. First, but don’t know how proud I am. No real news here. This article is borderline waste of webspace…

  2. Seriously, this has become an anti T-mobile site since QKennemer became a writer with Phandroid. It’s not sole based on this article-now, I can read title/first sentence of any article & know if Kennemer wrote it based on his evident resentment for T-Mobile & It’s products “I know you’re not surprised.” Seems a good writer would be able to consistently present the facts without his using it as a soapbox for his own personal beliefs-but, that would be a GOOD writer.

  3. “I know you’re not surprised…” meaning, we figured this would happen. Just as the device hit every other major carrier in the UK. Why would I have something against a carrier in the UK when I live in the US? I have nothing against anyone. I’m sorry you read far deeper into my post than you should have and managed to pull your baseless argument out of thin air.

By the way, I was with T-Mobile here in the United States since 2002, only having recently switched from them to Sprint due to the EVO. Anyone who knows me knows I love T-Mobile, and it was very hard for me to leave them after so many years. I’m still a big fan of T-Mobile, but they just don’t offer what I’m looking for, at the moment.

Again, sorry you were confused. Not sure how you pulled any sense of hatred for T-Mobile out of anything I’ve written here.

  4. Every mobile news sites here in Norway says its got a 1.2Ghz.
Also ive seen in many internet stores in norway, they are saying 1.2Ghz in the product information.

  5. Galaxy S is 1Ghz for a 4″ screen. I wouldn’t suprised if this is 1.2Ghz for 7″ screen.

  6. I’m with AT&T and can’t leave because I live in Vegas and my credit is a little short right now. So why doesn’t AT&T get phones like this or the EVO?
