HTC Desire Z Hitting Bell in November?

Something just came out of the wire via Mobile Syrup regarding availability of the HTC Desire Z in maple country. We knew the device would be headed to North America, but let’s not forget that Canada is one out of the many countries that make up North America. Earlier evidence saw the device’s leather case accessory popping up in Best Buy Canada’s inventory.

Today, their tipsters are saying they have it on good authority that Bell will be offering the HTC Desire Z exclusively. It’d be a huge deal for them as many won’t want to pass up on this nice QWERTY-enabled package. Specs include an 800MHz Qualcomm 7230 processor, a 3.7-inch touchscreen, Android 2.2 with Sense, a 5-megapixel camera with autofocus, flash, and the ability to record 720p HD video. We hope to learn more soon.

Well if you’re counting territories, smaller countries, and if you count Central America as part of North America (which most people do) then yes: Canada is one of many.

I’ll hope that the Desire Z hit the bell in mid-octobre. The release date is now set on 19th.

@Htc desire z: don’t expect it anytime sooner than 1st november. Seriously nearly all retailers moved the release date to 1st november, only funny guys like Expansys moved it to 18th. In reality they will have to move it again, to 1st November, because it’s HTC who doesn’t have the phones in Europe yet.

@6 no one ever has and ever will count South America as a part of North America. Central America is not considered a continent and most consider the majority of its landmass and surrounding ocean and any islands to belong to North America.

@JO: yeah, you should know, it’s not even released anywhere, the only variant of it released is G2 – but you already know it.

Funny about the one of many countries part… I think that many = 3 in total… Mexico, USA and Canada. No matter, I came here to read about HTC not geography anyway.
