I am a 14 year old EVO owner. And there is absolutely no doubt that it is the best phone available in America, and possibly the world. I am also and Apple fan, though, and I refuse to have any other computer or music player besides a Mac or iPod. So there you go, you can still enjoy Apple’s other good products but also enjoy the supreme EVO, or other Android phone of your preference. What is really sad to me is how rude, immature, and stuck up iPhone owners are. Again, dont’t get me wrong I like the iPhone, and I own and adore my iPod touch, and the Apple App Store is better than the Android Market, but that is the only category in which the iPhone could be considered better. But, one thing that makes Android superior to the iPhone is how open it is. Now all you iPhone fanboys, don’t even try to lie about not wanting Adobe Flash or being able to download non App Store apps. Steve Jobs is an irrational, and sometimes downright idiotic, about making the iPhone so closed off. One day, if the iPhone comes to Sprint I will probably purchase it, if it can live up to my current phone. So, once again, you iPhone devouts, please take into consideration that there might just be (and I can assure there is) a better phone in existence, and don’t insult our choice to own Android smartphones. I hope my unbiased view on these two phones will help open you eyes and stop acting like you are better than us, we made our choice and you made your’s.

Yeah go act like an 12 year old and dispute about the Evo 4G and Iphone4 or whatever…. No matter which phone you like or have now, all the Major Carriers such as Motorola, Apple, Sony, Nokia, Samsung and HTC keeps making better phones every 6 months, in addition to AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint and Verizon trying to screw you over and over and over and over and over every year! If you have the iPhone4 or the Evo 4G well good for you because they are ALL made in CHINA. Steve Jobs is a little Anarchy old fart who thinks his an Anarchy and people like you is sure dumb enough to follow the iPhone cult like bunch of high school idiots standing in line fucking 6 hours just to see if you are lucky enought to get an 16GB. The main purpose of a phone is making calls and text so who the fuck cares about the little 5mp camera on the shitty ass Chinese iPhone4? Did you get a chance to see the Sony Xperia phone available in Japan, this device is like 4 years ahead of the sorry ass iPhone4 and the EVO 4G. Speaking of AT&T the whole world knows this network sucks! hey Verizon “Can you hear me now”?? People must love paying $30 for a peice of shit Rubber Bumper just to fix the reception problem on the iPhone (Failed Antenna Design)…… Apple is coming out with a piece of brink that is gonna have an Apple logo on it and sells for $299 with a 10 year contract so get in line forks and wait another 20 hours! Or just order it on_line and will be shipped to your door in 14 days! My 8 year old niece’s shitty ass BOOST mobile phone has apps in it, I am already DEAD and my cat is now homeless! The new Droid X is coming out next Thursday so GOOD LUCK fans!

Pods on iPhone 4 and all the iPhone owners I own the EVO and yes it is better actually the best device on the market so they can be stuck on there little iPhone that they must hold in a special or if they don’t there reception will disappear or vanishes

One of the funniest videos I’ve ever seen. I’ve passed it to a few iPhone owners who agree with me. It points out the closed mind view that so many iPhone owners have. After doing a lot of research and review, I chose Android last year. I never go into purchases with a closed mind/eyes. I read, I read some more, and I read opposing viewpoints to the same talking points proponents put forth.
The iPhone is not bad in and of itself, but it’s the closed nature that makes it a non starter for me. Unfortunately, in the famed 1984 commercial Apple has gone from being the woman with the hammer to being the guy on the screen. Android is now the woman with the hammer.

Loving your iphone doesn’t mean your a troll or a fanboy.

But i have dealt with apple users who are just that and display cult like behavior.
Dealt with one who would totally ignore facts or say the fact that apple been hacked first the last couple of years at Pwn2Own was a setup.

Windows vista came out in January and that same year in October.
Vista/xp combined had 49 serious security holes and leopard which had been out for a a month had 259.
Yet this guy argued that this wasn’t real and how apple was so much more secure.

Any person could have looked at their apple running leopard and seen them for itself and the average joe understands that not getting attacked because of a low profile doesn’t mean your more secure.

A good many apple users can see the flaws and benefits of pc or apple but you do get this cult like group that believe apple can do no wrong.

Now this happens with video cards and ati/nvidia groups but nothing to the degree you see with apple.

Its strange to put it mildly.

I’ll admit you’d have to pay me really good money to use an apple item, they are over priced and offer no advantage other than the ‘sleakness’ and popularity.

I’ve also been unimpressed with Android phones to date, mainly due to awful battery life. I’ll stick with my outdated yet reliable BlackBerry until Android phones have long battery life.

That said, even in iBoy or iGirl should see the humor here, this is too funny….

From my perspective Who cares about the iPhone if the 3G AT&T network sucks. The primary function of A phone is to make calls and talk to another person. The secondary function is to MMS and use of the internet. I didn’t have neither of these two functions last night in a middle of a rain storm here in Metro Orlando, FL. and its not even an hurricane. Glad I don’t have to call 911 because I would have been fucked. So what good does my 3GS iPhone serves me? The camera, apps or iOS4?? Can’t wait to get my AndriodX july 15 on a better Verizon network!

Ok let’s get this straight…the iPhone is superior to the evo. Firstly, according to real life testing of both the cameras by major tech websites, the iPhones 5mp camera takes way better photos than the evo and the hd video camera is also superior to the evos. If You don’t believe me…go to YouTube and put evo vs iPhone 4 video and you will see how much better the iPhone video camera is better. The so called evo hd video is blurry and looks bad. I guess you can use that 4.3″ screen to see how crappy the video is. The iPhone os is also way more polished. Android feels like an ongoing experiment. I bet if the iPhone was available on other networks, many more people would get it but since it’s not, some people have no choice but to get crappy android so they will talk it up. Keep enjoying your crappy videos and pics on your evo while I take some beautiful pics and vids on my iPhone 4.

The iPhone are bad ass. No one argues that. I think the biggest issue people have is most, not all, iPhone users think that Android copies apple and the the iPhone is the best. It is simply not true. The items these phone makers are common sense and have been used for years on desktop computers. There are places for patents but sliding to unlock is not something one company can own. How much cheaper would phones be if they didn’t fight in court over stupid issues.
