Droid Incredible In Stock At Best Buy April 25th [$599.99]

It isn’t likely (but not impossible) that Best Buy will be SELLING the HTC Droid Incredible on April 25th, but based on some internal Best Buy inventory screenshots it appears that is exactly when they’ll be arriving at yellow tag retail stores. You can clearly see they aren’t in stores NOW:

But how about come the 25th? Ding, ding, ding.

Looks as if it’ll be $599.99 straight up.

We don’t encourage stalkerish behavior or peeping toms, but if you’re the sleuthing type unable to sneak a peak the 21st or 22nd, maybe you should hit up Best Buy the 25th and ask them if they can show you the phone on the DL because you know they have it. Heck, tell them you read Phandroid and check the HTC Incredible Forum religiously… I mean you already know everything you could possibly know – right?

    Great news to hear, but I’ll still go to the Verizon store to get mine.

  • MrS

    I’m guessing this means BBY will start presale in the 25th for distribution on the 29th?

  • DeeJ

    Does anyone have a google voice invite? I’d really appreciate it.

    First, whoever leaked these photos is in danger of getting fired, lol. Second, if you take a look at the “in stock date”, it shows the date that Best Buy stores should be RECEIVING the phones. That only means the shipments of the phones are slated to come in on that date. The “street date” is actually still blank meaning Best Buy doesn’t have an exact date as to when they can sell the phones to the public. It may be the 25th, 26th, a week from then or even up to 3 weeks.

    anybody root this yet?? i really need the tether hack from google.

    Uhh, doesn’t the picture say the 29th? not the 25th?

  • David

    Ahhh good ol’ RSS. (Retek Store System) Glad to see I’m not the only (former) Blue Shirt who recognizes how inaccurate and unreliable these screenshots are. For future reference, “In-Stock Dates” are almost never correct and all depend on the market each store is in.

    PS – Brian Dunn. Nice username ;)

    Uhh, that’s the out of stock date. Which means they’re currently out of stock and that’s when they can expect a supply of them.

    Uhh, look at the first shot. The one that says “Current Sell”. Yup, that date, the one you’re making reference to, is the date they’ll be available for retail sale.

    The HTC incredible is in the Best Buy Ad thats comes out the 25th. they should actually have them in stock the thursday-sat prior.

  • Rob

    YES!!! Almost there…..Stay on target…..

  • mi_canuck

    talk about overpriced…

  • moots

    wow $600 bucks. Still want that $1000 X10?

  • Dan

    The iphone was more expensive than this subsidized when it first came out. Why does anyone expect less, the specs are top

  • Me

    @mi_canuck damn man you must be a cheap bastard, what would you expect from a brand new phone that is network locked?

  • Dave

    @Chris

    Take a look at the “Current Sell” date again… MARCH 29th.

    The “Out of Stock” date means nothing. Typically 2 years from the In-stock date. Coming from personal experience as a BBY Inventory employee. It’s basically an estimate as to when they’ll stop carrying them.

    @mi_canuck

    That’s the price if you buy it outright without signing a contract. All smartphones are that expensive without signing your life away.

    I went to Best Buy today to pre-order the incredible but the guy I was talking to said they probably wont have the phone until May 23. I hoping that he just read the information wrong but I thought it was strange that they wouldn’t have it until the 23rd.
