same thing is happening for me, however luckily the Android OS is an open source, i’ve learned a lot of stuff by looking at the code of certain built-in apps such as the camera, give it a try

Do these offer more than your standard “Hello World” variety of tutorials? I’ve been looking for some good resources and books to help me on my Android development journey, but they’re either outdated, under-documented, or very paltry in terms of in-depth coverage. I want something befitting of an aide to a college course. Am I asking too much?

I found that the Android SDK was very simple to use. The developer.android.com site is well laid out, and if you have any experience in Java or c++, it should be a breeze.
