HTC Legend Prematurely Announced In Netherlands By KPN

by Rob Jackson on February 12th, 2010

htc-legend-kpnPeople sure do have a hard time keeping secrets these days! We already knew plenty about the upcoming HTC Legendboth pictures and specs – but Dutch mobile carrier KPN must have felt like the world should know more. Visiting the KPN website will display a “reserveer nu” button for the HTC Legend (seen left) and the full text in that little ad/graphic reads: “New in the Netherlands: HTC Legend. Coming in March. Reserve Now”.

Quick sidenote… did everyone forget that we heard about specs and launch date way back on December 14th?

The company is also taking allowing E-Mail signups to be notified when the phone goes on sale. Or as the translation goes: “Sign up now and your adviser will receive notification once the phone is available. So you’re always the first phone in the house!” Unfortunately there is no pricing information or other details… but we DO know that the HTC Legend will be coming in March and for those in the Netherlands, it will be available on KPN.

I think its safe to say that KPN in the Netherlands won’t be the only carrier to have it… so get ready for even more Android phones in March!

“Sign up now and your adviser will receive notification once the phone is available. So you’re always the first phone in the house!”

should be: “Sign up now with no commitment and you will receive a message as soon as the phone is available. That way you will always be the first to have the phone”

Ofcourse it’s true that all Dutch people are stoners but we don’t think that we’re a phone.

Greetings from someone in the Netherlands.

It’s a nice phone, although i didn’t like the plain area between the screen and the shortcut buttons (the black area).

But I hope it’ll be cheap.
