I got this phone yesterday, and so far it’s okay. It randomly shuts on and off. I also hate hate hate the fact that it won’t save or lock any of my texts and that’s almost my favorite part of the phone. So i’m pretty pissed, I might switch to the driod because i need a phone that will lock it’s texts. Like this phone is pretty cool and all but my sister works for verizon and says not to get this phone because of the MotoBlur. I don’t mind it, just the locked/ saved text message part pisses me off.

I got this phone a few weeks ago, and I really dont have anything good to say about it. As soon as possible, I am switching back to my old phone.

I would say March 15 :). Verizon is rolling out its quarterly inventory change on this date. I expect to see the devour. Also that 4G rumored Iphone is not going to happen. But I’m not saying the Iphone will not be available in the future.

The Moto site says it has Android 1.6 which is still better than the 1.5 on my Moto Cliq…..Where is my 2.1 already Moto? ……The strangest thing on the Moto site for the Devour is that it says it comes preloaded with Adobe Flash Lite? …..REALLY? …..We have heard no release dates on when Android users will finally get Flash and I assumed the Droid would be the first to get that priviledge….When does this phone go on sale?…….This is great news for Cliq owners like myself though….Keep those updates rolling Moto and the sooner the better…..I feel like I’m in the Dark Ages with Android 1.5…..LOL

No it does not have a snapdragon. From what I have read this will be more marketed as the cheaper option to the Droid. I do not know if the specs have been officially released yet but it will probably be pretty close to the Cliq’s specs.

Is this still on Android 1.5 or does it have 2.x? IIRC, Moto said something about a 2.x update in the works for the Cliq. I wonder if this device comes with it out of the box.
