The consensus is there is cell phones do NOT cause brain cancer. These are relatively low powered radio waves, not ionizing radiation like gamma rays (x-rays). It was also during the initial time where there were a stronger and less controlled use of signals.   With that said. I still use a cellphone and I believe that the risk is not the same today as it was 20 years ago.
